Toga Hospitality, manager of Medina Apartment Hotels, Vibe Hotels and Travelodge Hotels have enjoyed another award-winning year, with the announcement of 3 significant wins at the 2006 HM Magazine Awards.

Toga Hospitality was awarded Accommodation Chain of the Year, Marketing Campaign of the Year and Best 3.5 Star Hotel presented at the HM Awards Gala Function, attended by over 350 Travel Industry professionals at the NSW Art Gallery on Friday, September 8th. HM Magazine awards are presented annually to showcase outstanding achievements within the hospitality and tourism industry.

Following a successful year of growth and sustained performance Toga Hospitality was named Accommodation Chain of the Year. The past year has seen growth for Toga Hospitality with new hotels to all three of their Australian brands; Medina Apartment Hotels, Travelodge Hotels and Vibe Hotels. The year also saw the group launch in Europe with Adina Apartment Hotels – the first Australian Hospitality company to launch into the European market.

Vibe Hotels scored at the awards with the Vibe CD, “Sounds to Relax & Recharge” taking out Marketing Campaign of the year. The Vibe CD, released in partnership with SonyBMG, was delivered via an integrated marketing campaign incorporating extensive PR, promotion, online and print advertising, resulting in a Top 10 Aria Chart position and increased brand recognition for Vibe Hotels.

Toga Hospitality also took out the award for Best Hotel in the 3.5 Star category, with the Travelodge Hotel Southbank, an outstanding hotel in one of Melbourne's most popular locations. Toga Hospitality have operated Travelodge Hotels since April 2005, and over the last twelve months four new Travelodge Hotels have launched in Sydney, Newcastle, Perth & Rockhampton
